Marry Me In Colorado is owned and operated by Kevin and Lorie Cooper, a husband and wife team married for 13 years.  They started MMIC in 2006 after seeing a need for affordable alternatives to large scale weddings that still provide clients with fairytale memories.   Whether you need individual services such as officiating or photography, or an all-inclusive package to make your planning simplified, MMIC is an family owned company and NOT a conglomerate of individuals.  You will never be 'assigned' to complete strangers just before your big day. This means that from your initial conversation to your wedding day services to the follow up and delivery of your wedding photos you work with the same team of incredible, resourceful, creative, romantic and caring people to make your wedding experience into a lifetime of memories!

Kevin Cooper, 48, is a resident of beautiful Estes Park in northern Colorado where he lives with his wife Lorie of 13 years and daughters Taylor, 11 and  Kennedi, 10.  A native of Fort Worth, Texas, Kevin was born and raised in the true southern style of manners and chivalry, where a man's word and the respect he has earned are his greatest attributes.  Kevin has worked in the wedding industry for 11 years and provides his clients with wedding ceremonies unlike most you will ever experience.  His dedication to learning about each couple on a personal level allows him to develop ceremonies that are truly unique based on different aspects of a couple's personality, interests and beliefs.  His powerful voice, professional style and amazing sense of humor will not only make you completely at ease, but will captivate your wedding guests and bring to life the memories of their own wedding day, or the day they themselves may be dreaming of.   Whether your goal is a religious, spiritual, non-denominational, romantic or civil ceremony, you will appreciate the uniqueness that you will experience in what is the most important part of your wedding day - your ceremony, and the vows of commitment you will make to one another.  Kevin has been featured on Montel Williams, the Discovery Network, Good Morning America, Colorado Bride Magazine and The Knot.

Lorie Cooper, 44, is a 3rd generation Coloradoan.  She has 26 years of experience in weddings, 10 years in Sacramento, CA  where she planned weddings for dignitaries, celebrities and political leaders.  With over 2,400 weddings in her repertoire including a Kennedy family wedding, Governor's and Senator's daughters and has traveled to prestigious locations for events in New York, Boston, Florida, Chicago, London and Paris.   As a distinguished Master Wedding and Event Planner, she has published her own wedding planning guide, has been featured in national publications (Modern Bride, Bride's, Colorado Celebrations), has appeared on nationally syndicated television (Montel Williams, Discovery Network) and is a regular for local Colorado media sources (9News, Good Morning Colorado, Denver Post, Rocky Mountain News, Coloradoan Reporter Herald, Tribune, among others) as an expert on trends and tips for wedding planning.  Lorie personally provides the coordination, photography, and floral design services for MMIC clients as well as marketing, and web design.
